True Love for Hope is a non-profit organization that seeks to provide support for children with intellectual as well as developmental disabilities. They connect student and adult volunteers with the children, allowing for much support and encouragement to be provided to the kids.

Betty has been a volunteer at True Love for over four years now and has helped out in the weekly activities as well as summer and winter camps that are hosted annually. She was also able to help out a boy named Felix who is diagnosed with autism, reading and playing with him every weekend. In the present, Felix thrives in school and lives a happy life.

Through the accumulation of service hours, she also received three President's Volunteer Service Awards consecutively.
