Betty is an avid community volunteer and the founder of Numbers & Voices LLC. Utilizing math classes as a medium, she established the company to assist immigrant children in becoming more open to voicing themselves in a new and unfamiliar environment.
Betty is an active youth leader of 21st Century Leaders and a LaunchX Scholar; she also helped children with autism with True Love 4 Hope and received three President’s Volunteer Service Awards.
She is an artist and a Scholastic Art Competition winner, and was the student conductor in the Mark Wood Experience Concert where she went on stage with the violinist Mark Wood.
Angelina Guan is an avid tutor in STEM subjects and enjoys helping students with whatever obstacle they may face. She believes that math is a universal language and her mission is to make it enjoyable yet educational. She is a high school Junior currently attending The Westminster Schools and is a member of the Mu Alpha Theta club at her school.
In her free time, she likes to cook and bake. Her current obsession is making bread and authentic neapolitan pizza. She also enjoys book-reading often with a cup of warm milk. In her own time, she practices guitar and is currently learning to play the piano. Lastly, she hopes to complete a marathon one day.
An (Andrew) Li was a professor of Computer Science at Xiamen University for 25 years. He has a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and has much experience working with children after moving to the U.S.
During the little spare time he has when he is not avidly teaching away, he dabbles in farming, enjoys cooking, and adores playing chess of all kinds.
